Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Manama, as the country executed operations across the region in response for a significant and ongoing offensive against it by the United States and Israeli forces.

Airspace Engagements

In other parts of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait - which all house American military installations - stated they have engaged and destroyed incoming projectiles in their air space.

In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence stated it had successfully engaged a number of projectiles seemingly aimed at the al-Udeid air base, the largest American base in the Middle East.

Operation "Truthful Promise 4"

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was attacking US bases and assets as part of operation "Truthful Promise 4", in retaliation for the strikes on Iran launched by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday.

That US-Israeli operation - launched at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far focused on locations linked to the Tehran's leadership, with US President Donald Trump encouraging the people of Iran to revolt against the leadership.

Wider Impacts

In the State of Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israeli military stated it had detected an barrage of missiles from Iran.

The defence ministry of the United Arab Emirates said in a statement that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".

"Emirati air defenses responded to the missiles with notable success and destroyed a series of missiles," the statement continued.

Officials reported debris fell on a neighborhood in the capital, resulting in some property damage and fatalities.

The US Air Force is stationed at Al Dhafra Air Base, to the south of Abu Dhabi, along with the Emirati Air Force.
