Liverpool's Star Extends Statement to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that Salah expressed regret to the group of players following the uproar from his public comments.

He was omitted from a European match subsequent to voicing frustrations and stating his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The manager has chosen not to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.
Looking Ahead
Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” the midfielder explained.
He also implied that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are certain ways you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
Positive Results
Their results have remained strong in the period after the situation. He feels the outburst were never meant to destabilise the squad.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, playing well and on a positive run.”
