The Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution Based on Your Astrological Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm within the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers ahead of the game's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: How can connect this with astrology? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Remain on the friendly side of both and benefit from a strong ally; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Much like a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the Pokémon and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – be it their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. The thing about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed love of snacks. Many past official descriptions note their craving for tasty sap and how it uses its horn to collect it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this total queen. You cannot convince me this creature is not the life of every party, offering an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to hear. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's incredibly simple to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s future actions, which sounds very similar to a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

Cancer is commonly considered as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for frequently becoming wrapped up in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to fully manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion offers to the scene. Starmie is also said to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be putting on a show, albeit for aliens.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole lineage, from a perpetually shocked face like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic being, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became consciousness through pure resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. Being a Archer myself, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Goat, who often always think they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is possibly the non-fire sign that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame category matches perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Super Form's description says it “draws in hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
